The Hill House is essentially split into three interconnecting solid and void blocks. On arrival, upwards along the sharply sloping tree lined driveway, the building form begins to take shape. From what is primarily a double height geometric outlined white wall with oversailing canopy, the form becomes split as you turn into the parking area and the play of scale, mass, volume and over layering becomes evident.
